Judge Douglas Wilkins Takes Bench

On November 15, 2010, the Superior Court held the Induction Ceremony of The Honorable Douglas H. Wilkins, who was nominated as an Associate Justice of the Superior Court on September 21, 2010. Prior to taking the bench, Judge Wilkins practiced law for 32 years, including fourteen years in the Attorney General's Office, where he served as the First Assistant Attorney General, Chief of the Government Bureau, and Chief of the Trial Division. He also has many years of private practice experience, first at the Boston firm of Palmer & Dodge, and more recently at the Cambridge firm of Anderson & Kreiger, LLP. Judge Wilkins fills the vacancy created by the retirment of The Honorable Margaret R. Hinkle.
